Talks, workshops and keynotes
I’m a Master NLP Coach & Therapist (ICF certified), speaker, and former Paediatric Nurse, and I help people communicate more effectively – with clarity, courage, and compassion in their personal lives, workplaces, and within themselves.
With more than 15 years in healthcare and over a decade in private practice, I blend evidence-based communication frameworks with emotional development tools and practices that strengthen nervous-system safety. I believe that when we learn to communicate better, we connect better – because at the core of every human being is a need for belonging, emotional safety, and genuine connection. Yet most of us were never taught how to express our needs, navigate conflict with grace, or stay connected while holding differing perspectives.
I teach practical, relatable, and effective communication skills that help people move through discomfort, repair ruptures, build understanding, and create relationships grounded in respect, truth, and emotional maturity. My work goes beyond scripts or “what to say” – I support people to cultivate the inner safety required to speak honestly and listen deeply, leading with presence, courage, and integrity.
My work has been featured in Wellbeing Magazine and the memoir Dare to Dance by Bettina Deda. I’ve appeared on local radio, co-hosted the Conversations That Matter podcast with my son Jack, and regularly facilitate wellbeing and communication workshops for healthcare professionals.
Married for 23 years and raising two thriving young adults, I credit my greatest learning to my own family, where I’ve lived and embodied the very skills I now teach. And when I’m not speaking or coaching, you’ll find me riding my motorbike, immersed in a war-romance novel, or savouring slow, soulful moments.
